Importing Planning Center Service list into Hog 4 Console with XML

The Hog 4 Console can take an XML file and import the names, comments (and some other metadata) into a cuelist. There was no existing solution for importing a Planning Center playlist into the Hog line of consoles, so I created a tool which takes the Planning Center schedule for the current week and creates an XML file that can be imported.

Once you've successfully exported the XML file, make sure to save it in a location that is easily accessible from your Hog 4 Console. Then, connect your console to your computer using a USB cable or over a network connection.

To open the Hog 4 PC software, double-click the icon on your computer's desktop or search for it in your applications. Once the software is open, click on the "File" menu at the top left of the screen and select "Import".

In the import window, navigate to the location where you saved your Planning Center XML file and select it. Then, follow the prompts to import the data into your console.

After the import is complete, you should be able to access your Planning Center Service list from within the Hog 4 Console. This will allow you to easily view and control your service cues and timing during live events.
